Just wondering if any of you all ever added something you had already done to your list just so that you had something to cross off. LOL I have to admit I’m guilty. It actually gave me a little boost that sent me on my way of doing other things to cross off.
Who Decreed Three?

You Will Be Peter

This was a very interesting book. It looks at Peter from the very beginning of his life as he followed Jesus. You will journey through lands, life styles, culture and thoughts of Jesus and the twelve. Especially Peter.
These authors did a thorough job of their research. They make it real for the reader.
I do take exception to the last chapter. “Who do you say I am?” It reads from a Catholic viewpoint which views Peter as the first pope. Coming from a Bible college background I see Peter’s words as the foundation of the Christian faith.
Thank you, Jerry Lathan and Steven Manchester, for giving us an eye view of the twelve followers of Jesus and the Way.
The Big MAC Attack

I cheated. Not on a diet. On my Mending Alteration Creation list. Two items from the Mending bit the dust. No, I did not mend them. I told you I cheated. I sent them out the door. And, no, I do not have a guilty conscience. LOL
I’ll try to do better when I address the A category. I really do need to do some alterations. Unless one of you all want to come and do them for me.
To Move or Not to Move

That is the question. I’m seriously considering a move back up north to my home state. That won’t be happening any time soon. I’m going to have to ease my way back into the cold and snow.
That means a late spring or summer move. But not too late. I don’t want to have to live through another hurricane. Please, God. Back to back hurricanes was just too much water and wind.
I know I’ll be looking at snow and ice storms. Unfortunately, very few places have perfect weather.
Okay. Decision has been made. I’m moving north. BUT, only a little farther north in Florida. LOL

Still Working
June 6th, 2025Still working on Consumer Man’s finances. He was doing really well until he had to help some of his adult children relocate to Florida. After he got them all situated in apartments and jobs, they decided to move to New York where their mother lives. Go figure.
His debts are heading in the right direction. Two of them are totally paid off.
I’m at the point where my two credit cards are paid in full monthly. My car became truly my car when I paid it off last year. Imagine a very happy face now belonging to this writer.
